Job summary

Yusen Logistics Derby is seeking reliable Class 1 (C+E) drivers for scheduled milk runs within the automotive sector. You will work regular Monday–Friday shifts, with a consistent route each day, and no handballing to distract from driving.

You’ll perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, deliver and collect cargo safely, and maintain professionalism with customers and site staff. A CPC and tachograph card are required, along with a valid C+E licence and a commitment to road safety.

• Valid Category C+E licence with 1+ year experience
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled automotive milk runs in line with delivery and collection requirements.
• Transport loads safely and securely.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Follow driving regulations, road safety requirements and company procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork where required.
• Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel.

Yusen Logistics is looking for reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our automotive logistics operation in Derby.

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled milk runs within the automotive industry, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

You'll benefit from driving the same route each shift, giving you the opportunity to become familiar with your journey and enjoy a more consistent working routine.
