Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for a Bedford site on a Sunday to Thursday schedule, starting at 14:00. You will perform store delivery work for a well-known supermarket, delivering clothing, with a guaranteed minimum 8 hours per day.

Requirements include a full HGV C+E licence with up to six points for minor endorsements, Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card, and a solid knowledge of drivers hours and the Working Time Directive.

Qualifications

• HGV C+E licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card.
• Solid understanding of Drivers hours, regulations and Working Time Directive.

Responsibilities

• Store delivery work for a supermarket on a Bedford site.
• Deliver clothing items to stores as required by route plan.
• Maintain accuracy of deliveries and paperwork, ensuring on-time arrivals.

HG are recruiting HGV1 Drivers for our established Wincanton site in Bedford, the role is store delivery work for a well-known supermarket, delivering clothing. Pay rates are very competitive, from day one, with a guarantee of 8 hours per day!

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed daily
• Regular work and job security

• HGV C+E Class 1 license

• Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
