Job summary

Driver Resource Recruitment is seeking Class 1 (HGV/LGV C+E) drivers on an ongoing basis for a client at Mercia Park in the East Midlands. The role involves 1–3 deliveries per shift, using scanners for PODs, and adhering to Just-In-Time drops and client policies.

Standard hours pay £17.60 (06:00–20:00) and unsociable hours £20.83 (20:00–06:00). Training will be provided and equality of opportunity is promoted by the agency.

Qualifications

• Must have a good understanding of English and be a good communicator, paperwork involved.
• Full training will be given.

• Delivery of car parts to Customers in the East Midlands.
• 1-3 Deliveries per shift.
• Using scanner to POD freight once loaded and delivered.
• Placing freight into lock ups and storage places using keys and alarm pads to access.
• Following set route and adhering to "just-in-time" drops.
• Full compliance with our client policy - use of Sat NAV/Snooper, WTD, Driving hours.

Class 1 driver (HGV/LGV C+E Drivers) Pay rates;

Monday - Friday £17.60 standard hours (06:00 - 20:00)

£20.83 unsociable hours (20:00 - 06:00)

All rates are exclusive of holiday pay which the Cadidate will accrue separately.
