Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HGV Auto Electrician to join the Engineering team in Knitsley. You will diagnose faults on HGV electrical systems, read circuit diagrams and work with charging and multiplex systems to ensure first-time fixes where possible.

We offer a salary of £39,620–£44,000 per annum with early and day shifts; overtime is available and optional. Laptop diagnostics and DVSA standards knowledge are important, with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in Auto Electrics preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of automotive electrical systems.
• Knowledge and experience of automotive circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge and experience of automotive charging & multiplex systems.
• Knowledge and experience of laptop diagnostics & test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Fault diagnostics and rectification with a first-time fix policy.
• Working with HGV/PSV electrical systems, circuit diagrams, charging & multiplex systems.
• Laptop diagnostics.
• Use of multi-meters and other test equipment.

We are currently looking for an HGV Auto Electrician to join our client's dedicated Engineering team in their commitment in providing a high standard of service output for their customers.

HGV Auto Electrician Required Skills

• Knowledge and experience of automotive electrical systems
• Knowledge and experience of automotive circuit diagrams
• Knowledge and experience of automotive charging & multiplex systems
• Knowledge and experience of laptop diagnostics & test equipment
• Experience with 24 Volt systems
• Understanding of DVSA standards
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Auto Electrics

HGV Auto Electrician Main Duties
