Job summary

Driver Hire Burton in Burton (UK) is looking for a skilled 7.5 tonne driver (CAT C1) to support one of our trusted clients with ongoing full-time work in Burton. The role is temp-to-perm for the right candidate, offering a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

The pay rate is £13.25 per hour (with holidays accrued) or £14.85 per hour inclusive of holiday, with weekly pay, an immediate start, and minimum 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• CAT C1 / 7.5T licence with relevant experience.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good communication skills.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible with start & finish times.

Responsibilities

• Drive 7.5T refuse vehicles for client in Burton.
• Maintain safe and efficient operations and routes.
• Support a temporary-to-permanent progression path with the client.
