Job summary

Swift Temps Ltd in Gloucester is seeking an HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Driver to join our team on weekdays, with start times around 06:45 and finish around 15:00. The role involves operating a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes and collaborating with the refuse crew to complete daily collections safely.

You will perform vehicle checks, adhere to health and safety procedures, and strive for efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points (subject to offence code).

HGV Class 2 Refuse Collection Driver - Gloucester

Location: Gloucester

Pay Rate: £17.05 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 06:45 - 15:00

Start Date: Immediate starts available!

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on planned routes.
• Working alongside the refuse collection team to complete daily collections safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

• Monday to Friday - no weekend work

Requirements

• A full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points (depending on the offence code)
• Ideally, a minimum of 1 year's Category C licence holding
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
