Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking HGV 2 Drivers to join their team in Newbridge. The role involves ensuring safe unloading of vehicles, maintaining delivery standards, and adhering to safety regulations. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 2 Licence and have experience in multi-drop deliveries. This is a full-time position with day shifts from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (no more than 6 points).
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• Knowledge of working time directive.
• Multi-Drop experience.
• Experience working with steel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.
• Ensure Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned.
• Check load security and weight distribution.
• Maintain delivery vehicles to company standards.
• Ensure vehicles are in a safe condition.

Manpower is currently looking for HGV 2 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Newbridge (near Edinburgh).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.
• Ensure Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned.
• Check load security and weight distribution according to safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain delivery vehicles to company standards by reporting any defects.
• Ensure vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily checks completed before use, and operated safely.

Essential Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (no more than 6 points).
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• Knowledge of working time directive.
• Multi-Drop experience.
• Experience working with steel.

Hours of work are dayshift, Monday to Friday.
