Job summary

Resolve Recruitment is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver for food deliveries in Wednesbury. You will be responsible for delivering to customer locations, securing loads, and maintaining safety and timeliness on each run.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digi card, and at least 1 year of experience, with up to 6 points. Long-day shifts and adhoc/ongoing work are available through our recruitment team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence held.
• Driver CPC valid.
• Digi Tachograph (Digi) card valid.
• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Licence max 6 points.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out food deliveries to customer locations.

Location: Wednesbury, WS10 7DE

Pay Rate: up to £19.16 per hour

Contract Type: Adhoc / Ongoing Work

Shift Pattern: Long Days

The Role

• Carry out food deliveries to customer locations
• Secure loads using straps
• Complete long‑day shifts as required
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and compliance
• Complete a driving assessment prior to starting

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Hold a valid Driver CPC
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) card
• Have a minimum of 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Have no more than 6 points on their licence
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be reliable, safety-conscious, and physically fit for strapping work
