Job summary

M4 Talent Group - South East Hub is seeking reliable HGV 2 drivers for a busy customer delivery operation in Yate. This temporary-to-permanent role offers a competitive hourly rate and regular Monday to Friday hours.

You will drive an HGV 2 vehicle, work with a second driver, load/unload goods, and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining safety and high service standards. A temp-to-perm path provides progression to permanent employment with an increased rate.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV 2 license with no more than 6 points.
• In date CPC & TACHO cards.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Driving a company HGV 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers.
• Working as part of a 2 man crew.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Carrying out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any issues.
• Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately.
