Job summary

ATL is seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will deliver goods, obtain customer signatures, and communicate with the Transport Office while ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC Digital Tachograph card, and fewer than six penalty points. We offer a supportive workplace with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Digital Tachograph card.
• Less than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods in line with the daily manifest.
• Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.
• Communicate effectively with the Transport Office team.
• Conduct vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures (SSOW) and relevant legislation.
• Support and adhere to the company’s Quality Policy and objectives of delivering a profitable and high-quality service.
• Participate in the company’s annual appraisal process.
• Complete trailer defect reports where required.
• Safely and efficiently unload trailers, following all Health & Safety requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and goods are correctly secured before transport.
