Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a proactive LGV C licensed driver to join our waste collection team in South Gloucestershire. You will drive and operate Stillage Vehicles, collect household waste and recycling from residents, and uphold high standards of service while following safety protocols.

You will work as part of a friendly, hardworking team; training will be provided for vehicle handling if needed, and a strong customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Category C licence and CPC card.
• Passion for professional driving with good communication.
• Experience in waste industry desirable but not essential.
• Experience with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV desirable; training provided.

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting household waste and recycling from the residents of South Gloucestershire, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
• An LGV Category C licence as well as a valid CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, however is not essential.
• Experience of working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
