Job summary

SUEZ in Doncaster is recruiting for a professional driver to operate waste collection vehicles and deliver reliable service to local residents. You will be responsible for safe vehicle operation, route adherence and maintaining high customer satisfaction on every stop.

The role requires LGV Category C licence with a valid CPC card and a proactive team player attitude to support a busy, frontline operation in the waste sector.

Qualifications

• Must hold LGV Category C licence and a valid CPC card.
• Excellent driving and customer service track record.
• Experience in waste industry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate waste collection vehicles to residents in Doncaster.

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting household waste and recycling from the residents of Doncaster, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
• An LGV Category C licence as well as a valid CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable, however is not essential.
• Experience of working with Stillage Vehicles – Kerbside Loaders and RCV is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
