Job summary

Estúdio Voz Brasil is seeking an HGV 2 DRIVER for an immediate start in London. The role involves heavy lifting, removals, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience and a valid UK driver's licence. Full-time, part-time, and temp-to-perm positions are available, with shifts varying between early mornings and nights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driver's licence, CPC, and digital tacho card.
• At least 2 years of experience with HGV 2 driving.
• Good understanding of English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Carry out removals work, including office moves and heavy lifting.
• Ensure load is safe and secure, completing associated paperwork.
• Follow EU driving regulations and perform vehicle checks.

Education

UK driver's licence

• REMOVALS WORK
• OFFICE MOVES
• HEAVY LIFTING
• LOCAL AND DISTANCE WORK
• NIGHTS OUT OCCASSIONALLY AVAILABLE
• LOADING AND UNLOADING WORKING AS PART OF A CREW (BETWEEN 2 - 10 CREWS)
• CHECKING AND COMPLETING PAPERWORK
• ENSURING LOAD IS SAFE AND SECURE
• VEHICLE CHECKS
• FOLLOWING EU WORKING TIME DRIVING REGULATIONS

• ABILITY TO DEAL FACE TO FACE WITH CLIENTS AND HANDLE ANY INITIAL QUERIES IN A PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS MANNER

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• Maximum of 6 minor points
• Minimum 2-year HGV 2 driving experience
• Must have driven at least 180 days in the uk in the last 2 years
• Have a UK driver's licence
• Have valid cpc and digital tacho card
• Pass working time and highway code tests
• Follow all UK and working time directive laws
• Good understanding of English, written and verbal
• Pass a manual and written assessment
• Be willing to undertake and pass a drug and alcohol test
