Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a Kirkby-based role. This temp-to-perm position offers £18 per hour, Monday to Friday work, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established company.

Role involves Class 1 driving with multi‑drop deliveries across the UK, and approximately 23 nights out per week. Paperwork must be completed accurately, and loads secured with ratchet straps.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Licence is required.
• Must hold CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience securing loads with ratchet straps.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 driving with multi-drop deliveries across the UK.
• 23 nights out per week (not a full-time tramping role).
• Secure all loads using ratchet straps.
• Complete deliveries safely, efficiently and on time.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Adhere to drivers' hours and transport regulations.

The Role

• Class 1 driving with multi‑drop deliveries across the UK

Requirements
