Job summary

Staffline is hiring HGV 1 drivers in South Yorkshire. Newly passed drivers welcome. Depots involve delivery, collection, and trunking between local and national RDCs. 2-hour flexibility around start times within 14:00–21:59, with 12-hour shifts and weekly pay.

Drivers should be able to work across all 7 days, including Saturdays, and have Digi/DQC cards with Class 1 and 2 qualifications preferred. On-site Staffline support and free parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months driving experience recorded on your digi card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Digi and DQC cards required.
• Class 1 and 2 qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive depot delivery and collection work, trunking trailers between local and national RDCs.
• Work across 7 days with flexibility; Saturdays required.
• Typical shift length around 12 hours.
• On-site support from Staffline.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV1 driver, the work will involve Depot Delivery and collection work, trunking trailers between local and national RDC's.

Drivers are required across all 7 days Monday - Sunday. Must be flexible and able to work Saturdays.

You may be requested to:

• Drive a Class 2 (rigid) vehicle
• Nights Out (optional)

Our Perfect Worker

Will be flexible to work 2 hours either side of preferred start time window and be able to commit to a rota in advance.

As an HGV 1 driver, you will ideally have:

• No more than 6 points
• Digi and DQC cards
• Class 1 and 2 qualified
• Experience using a Digi card and be able to record manual entries
