An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Wednesbury has become available for HGV 1 drivers on block bookings with a view to temp-to-perm opportunities.

Responsibilities of an HGV 1 Driver:

1. Driving HGV class 1 vehicle
2. Completing vehicle checks
3. General haulage deliveries
4. Ensuring loads are secure (using ratchet straps)
5. Completing paperwork and taking load pictures
6. Using a handheld device for deliveries

Requirements to be considered for this role:

• C+E Licence + in-date CPC and Tachograph card
• Held C+E category for at least 2 years (more than 1 year may be considered)
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Competent in using ratchet straps
• No more than 6 points (no DD, DR, IN endorsements)
• Available Monday to Friday

Pay Rates and Benefits:

• Days - £16.00
• Nights - £17.00
• Saturdays - £18.00
• Sundays - £20.00
• Block bookings (4 weeks per block)
• Potential temp-to-perm
