Our Customer

Our long established logistics client based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description

Work involves Class 1 HGV driving tramping work across the UK to manufacturing sites or similar locations. Some back hauling may be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is vital. Our client has depots across the UK; some night outs could be at depots with better facilities.

Licence Requirements

• HGV Class 1 Licence (Minimum of 12 months experience)
• Up-to-date CPC for your Class 1
• Up-to-date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Maintain a smart appearance (no jeans, etc.) as you will be representing the company
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition
• Have good communication skills and be contactable throughout the shift

Salary

All rates are PAYE only, with no umbrella or limited company options.

• Days: £15.00 per hour
• Night out allowance: £25.00 per night out
