Location: Luton, LU1 2UA
Job Type: Distance Work / Trunking

Newstaff Employment Services is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for distance work based in Luton.

We are looking for reliable, professional and experienced drivers to join our team for ongoing work.

The Role

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) distance driving.
• Long-distance trunking and deliveries.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Maintaining compliance with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Good Knowledge of Securing Load with Rachet Straps
