Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing Monday–Friday work in Banbury. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely, performing pre-shift checks, and adhering to tachograph and hours regulations.

The role offers consistent day shifts, a modern fleet, and long-term opportunities within a global organisation. Preference for candidates with at least two years of Class 1 experience and clean driving history.

Qualifications

• At least 180 days' Class 1 driving experience in the UK within last 2 years.

Pay Rates

• £16.71 per hour for the first 45 hours worked each week
• £20.50 per hour after 45 hours

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and all transport legislation.
• Manage your working hours in accordance with tachograph and drivers' hours regulations.
• Represent the business professionally, maintaining high standards of appearance and conduct at all times.

What We're Looking For

• A valid UK Class 1 (CE) driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
• At least 180 days' Class 1 driving experience in the UK within the last 2 years.
• A sound understanding of drivers' hours, working time, and tachograph regulations.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (no DR or IN endorsements due to insurance requirements).
• Experience operating refrigerated vehicles is advantageous but not essential.
