Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in the Midlands is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for a temporary, dayshift role. You will operate both class 1 and class 2 vehicles, delivering and collecting palletised freight across the region with no manual handling of loads.

Starting at 07:00, Monday to Friday, you can expect around 10 hours per day. The position is open to UK applicants only, with no visa sponsorship offered. Closing date is 2026-10-11.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV C+E licence and CPC.
• Digital tachograph card is required.
• Experience with palletised deliveries and collections is essential.

Responsibilities

• Occasional depot-to-depot trunks.

Job Description

We require an HGV Class 1 driver. Working on days you will be driving both class 1 and 2 vehicles and be collecting and delivering freight throughout the Midlands. There may also be occasional depot to depot trunks. There is no manual handling of the load.

Duration: This is a temporary role with ongoing work available

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this position is £16.00 per hour and you may accrue up to 28 days Annual Leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships

Working Hours: Will be working Monday to Friday and working an average of 10 hours each day starting form 0700
