Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an HGV1 driver for nationwide vegetable deliveries in the UK. This temporary role involves 2–4 drops per day with minimal handball and weekly pay. You’ll complete paperwork, perform vehicle checks, and ensure safe, efficient deliveries across the UK.

Working hours are between 00:00 and 04:00, Monday to Friday, with 8–10 hour shifts and no weekends. The position pays £15.00 per hour PAYE or £19.00 per hour via umbrella, with up to 28 days holiday pro rata.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 Driving entitlement.
• CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries across the UK delivering vegetables with minimal handball.
• Make around 2–4 drops per day.
• Complete all paperwork and vehicle checks; deliver safely and efficiently.

Our client is an established company, and you will be making around 2-4 drops per day with minimal handball across the UK delivering vegetables

You will be making sure:

• All paperwork is completed;
• All vehicle checks have been completed
• Deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

Duration: This is a temporary position with ongoing work available

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Pay is £15.00 per hour PAYE or £19.00 per hour if paid through our umbrella provider.You will accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata.We do not offer visa sponsorships

Working Hours: You will be working between Monday and Friday and you will be starting between 00:00-04:00. No weekends8-10 hour shifts.
