Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Heritage Planning Associate to join our Heritage team in London, Manchester, or Cambridge. You will work on national projects across Archaeology and built heritage, delivering high-quality assessments and planning statements.

The role offers professional development within a supportive, collaborative environment and opportunities to grow the business and your profile in the Historic Environment space.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in archaeology or historic environment.
• Significant heritage consultancy experience or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
• CIfA/RTPI membership or equivalent professional body.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site-specific historical and policy research.
• Identify site-specific heritage planning constraints.
• Prepare and oversee Heritage Desk Based Assessments, Statements, and Impact Assessments.
• Prepare fee proposals and tender submissions.
• Develop client relationships and engage with authorities and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior heritage consultants and contribute to business development.
• Support the Heritage team across UK projects.
