Job summary

Badminton Estate is seeking a Property Maintenance Surveyor to join our team. You will oversee repair, refurbishment and maintenance across a diverse portfolio including historic and heritage buildings, with responsibility for coordinating works, contractor management and ensuring high-quality outcomes on site.

You will work closely with the Clerk of Works and estate departments to deliver long-term maintenance strategies while supporting compliance and budget monitoring in a unique rural estate

Qualifications

• Experience with heritage, listed or rural properties is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of building construction and maintenance.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors and manage projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee repair, maintenance and refurbishment works across the estate.
• Prepare schedules of repair and improvement works.
• Manage contractors and monitor quality on site.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Support compliance across the portfolio.
• Monitor maintenance expenditure and project costs.
• Contribute to long-term maintenance strategies.
• Support wider estate operations where required.
