Job summary

De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill-on-Sea seeks an experienced Heritage Engagement and Volunteer Manager on a fixed-term contract for 24 months (with possible extension). You will develop participatory archiving and heritage interpretation projects and coordinate a diverse volunteer pool across the DLWP teams.

The role involves partnering with communities to co-create heritage activities, recruit and mobilise volunteers, and deliver engaging events and community archives in collaboration with DLWP

Qualifications

• Experience of working with communities to co-create and deliver heritage projects.
• Experience with archive and museum collections interpretation.
• Experience in recruiting and managing volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver participatory archiving and heritage interpretation strands.
• Coordinate and deliver volunteer programme across DLWP teams.
• Work with partners to deliver Heritage engagement events and community archiving.
