Job summary
National Trust is seeking a Collections & House Manager at Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire to lead the Collections and House team and ensure high standards of conservation, presentation and visitor experience. The fixed-term role (up to 12 months) requires strong heritage knowledge, people leadership and a commitment to inclusive access, working with volunteers and colleagues across departments.

- Experienced in achieving high standards of presentation, customer care, compliance and collections management in a historic setting.
- Aware of heritage sector practices in visitor engagement, innovation and access.
- Promote inclusivity and diversity in interpretation and presentation of history.
- Able to lead teams and manage people to reach goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Collections and House team and oversee House & Collections Officers and Assistants.
- Manage daily opening of the house and ensure an excellent visitor experience.
- Ensure conservation, presentation and compliance standards across the collections.
- Develop volunteers and provide flexible, inclusive volunteering opportunities (approx. 170 volunteers).
- Contribute to strategic projects such as the Collections Workbook and Representation Plan.
