Job summary

Purcell in London is looking for a recently qualified Architect to join our team to work on central London cultural projects.

You will contribute across all RIBA stages, combining heritage conservation with innovative design, and collaborate with a friendly, supportive team that values development and knowledge sharing.

You’ll prepare detailed drawings, join site visits, and present high-quality work to clients while adhering to Purcell’s values of inclusivity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Essential: ARB, RIBA/RICS or equivalent
• Desirable: AABC, IHBC, RIBA CA/SCA or working towards
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and Twinmotion
• Good hand-drawing and sketching skills
• Understanding of UK Building and Planning regulations

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop knowledge of Purcell’s approach to architectural conservation and design.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and consultants to support project delivery.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and Twinmotion.
• Develop design packages from concept to detailed drawings that meet client expectations and conservation standards.
• Involve in site surveys and provide input for project teams ensuring regulatory compliance.
