Job summary

Executive Network Group is assisting a leading manufacturing operation in Hereford to appoint a Senior HR Manager. This hands-on, site-based role leads the HR function for a 400+ workforce and reports to the General Manager.

You will work closely with senior leaders, engaging with employees and managers to deliver day-to-day HR delivery and strategic leadership, while maintaining compliance and driving performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience working with trade unions.
• Proven track record of developing and leading an HR function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site's HR function and advise senior operational leaders.
• Handle day-to-day HR delivery, employee relations and performance matters.
• Partner with General Manager and SLT on people and organisational priorities.
• Develop and coach a small HR team; drive change and continuous improvement.
• Monitor key HR metrics and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
• Support talent management, succession planning and employee development.
