Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler for a Hereford-based project. The role focuses on wiring looms and electrical connections for drone systems, including soldering and connector termination.

All required equipment will be provided, and the position is a short-term contract with potential extension. The successful candidate will demonstrate hands-on expertise in electrical assembly, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work to precise engineering

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on electronic assembly experience.
• Experience with wiring looms, soldering and connector termination.
• Ability to follow engineering specifications and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble wiring looms and cable assemblies.
• Solder electrical wires and components.
• Crimp connectors and terminals.
• Prepare cables, wires and connectors for assembly.
• Complete electronic and electrical assembly work.
• Work to engineering requirements and technical information.
• Use appropriate hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Inspect assemblies for quality.
• Support engineers with project build requirements.
• Maintain high quality and attention to detail throughout assembly.
