Job summary

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a HEMS Paramedic who will be seconded to Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS). Eligible candidates must have worked as a KSS HEMS paramedic within the last 12 months and hold a full UK driving licence, with a fit-for-role test and Class 2 aviation medical required.

Qualifications

• Must have worked as a KSS HEMS paramedic within the last 12 months (including Emeritus).
• Hold a full UK driving licence and pass a 'fit for role' test and a valid Class 2 aviation medical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality patient-focused care within the scope of practice and enhanced care team.
• Provide specialist advice on scene safety, scene management, inter-agency working, extrication, triage and transport.
• Remotely support tasking, identify appropriate calls and ensure timely deployment of air assets.
• Support and promote fundraising activities for the charity.
