MaineHealth Cancer Care in Belfast, Maine seeks a General Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. The practice is affiliated with MaineHealth Waldo County General Hospital, offering a path in a nationally recognized integrated care system with strong research and multidisciplinary care.

The candidate will work with an established team, participate in tumor boards, and may have a 1 day/week subspecialty clinic. J-1 visa applicants are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Fellowship or board-certified in hematology/oncology preferred.
• Experience in an academic health system or academically oriented private practice preferred, early-career candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues in the established hematology/medical oncology practice.
• Participate in subspecialty and system-wide tumor boards.
• Attend a 1 day/week subspecialty clinic at nearby Rockport Cancer Care location.
