Job summary

NHV Group is seeking a B1.3 licensed helicopter engineer in the United Kingdom to maintain helicopters and support operations. You will work within a team of engineers, report to the Maintenance Lead, and ensure adherence to UK CAA and MOE standards for line maintenance.

You will participate in planning rosters, coordinate with NHV Supply Chain for parts, perform preflight checks, and brief pilots and the Maintenance Lead. Strong English, ICT literacy, and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 license required.
  • Extensive aviation experience preferred; licensed engineer strongly preferred.
  • Experience in different aviation companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with regulations and MOE instructions for line maintenance.
  • Ensure maintenance meets UK CAA standards and is completed on time.
  • Plan, roster, and coordinate work to support business continuity.
  • Perform daily problem analysis and debrief pilots and Lead.
  • Ensure PRF is performed and report maintenance status to Lead.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain for materials and spares on site.

Job description

The helicopter B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of the helicopters. They work in a team of engineers and report to the Maintenance Lead.

Main Responsibilities
  • Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;
  • Ensure that all line maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the UK CAA and M.O.E. instructions;
  • Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity;
  • Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of a serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;
  • Ensure, based on pilot & all other relevant information, daily problem analysis & problem solving;
  • Ensure briefing & debriefing of pilots and Maintenance Lead;
  • Ensure that PRF (preflight check) is performed;
  • Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & support services that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment: material in service car, consumables, limited service stock, work material, material needed for normal day-to-day line maintenance, exceptional material supplied for exceptional line maintenance or small repair tasks;
  • Report daily on the maintenance situation to the Maintenance Lead.
  • Responsible for complying with Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and controls and supporting information security objectives
Skills & Experience

Experience

  • UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License
  • Extensive relevant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer is preferred
  • Engineering experience in different aviation companies is a plus

  • Languages: English (professional level)
  • Knows & operates by the procedure and processes (operational, quality, safety …) installed by the company
  • Good communicator: debriefing to pilots, flight crew and Maintenance Lead
