Broadgate is proud to be partnered with a global energy supplier, which is looking to expand its Hedging Strategy and Operations team. The business unit focuses on helping the UK achieve Net Zero. You will gain exposure to various markets including residential, corporate, nuclear, renewables, and thermal generation.

The role is based in London; however, remote working can also be accommodated.

About the Role:

1. Developing and implementing hedging strategies.
2. Evaluating movements in positions and understanding why they have occurred, in the context of the hedging strategies that are applied.
3. Working with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure a current and clear understanding of their strategic priorities and hedging requirements.
4. Reviewing the performance of hedging activities to drive insight, improve commercial value, and provide visibility of the team's activities.
5. Producing reports that are clear, accurate, and provide insight on performance, exposures, and risks.

About You:

1. Highly analytical mindset.
2. Competent in Excel, with the ability to handle large quantities of data in a timely fashion.
3. Enthusiasm to learn and develop.
4. Good communication and presentation skills.
