Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Solutions is recruiting experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians / HGV Mechanics for a specialist engineering contract based in Ashchurch. You will be working on the maintenance, repair, servicing and refurbishment of specialist heavy vehicles and equipment as part of an experienced engineering team.

The role offers £22.00 per hour total package (£17.00ph basic + £5.00ph expenses) with a minimum 3-month contract and ongoing work available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Experience with HGVs, commercial vehicles, plant, or military vehicles.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Basic electrical fault-finding experience.
• Ability to obtain BPSS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Vehicle inspections and defect rectification.
• Component removal and replacement.
• Preventative maintenance and overhaul work.
