Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting Vehicle Technicians at Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (GL20) to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package. You will work within an autonomous team under an outcomes-based package of work, ensuring readiness, safety and regulatory compliance for stored and sustainment fleet platforms.

Role requires Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and strong diagnostic capabilities. On-site tooling is provided; BPSS clearance is fully sponsored by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose vehicle issues and carry out servicing and repairs.
• Experience with fleet asset tracking and documentation.
• Willingness to undergo BPSS checks with sponsorship provided by E-ppl.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.
• Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and compliance ahead of inspections.
• Bring vehicles up to required operational standards and rectify defects.

While our head office is proudly based in Coventry, this specific role is permanently located at our operational site in Ashchurch, Gloucestershire (GL20). Located less than a quarter-mile from Junction 9 of the M5 and within short walking distance of the Ashchurch for Tewkesbury Railway Station (on the main Bristol-to-Birmingham line), our facility is easily commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, and Tewkesbury. Initial interviews will be conducted virtually via Teams, followed by a final stage on-site at our Ashchurch facility.

About the Role

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Servicing:Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.
• Rectification & Prep:Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Fleet Upgrades:Bring vehicles up to required operational standards.
• Quality Assurance:Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages.
• Safety First:Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.

• Security Clearance:Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process.
• Experience:Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable).
• Qualifications:Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Skills:Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
• PPE:Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear.

• Competitive Package:£17.00/hr plus £5.00 per hour allowance.
• Tooling:All standard and specialist mechanical tooling is provided on-site.
• Clearance Support:Full sponsorship for your BPSS clearance.
