Job summary

Renault Trucks invites applicants to join the Heavy Vehicle Apprentice Technician programme. The 3-year apprenticeship covers maintenance, repair and inspections of Renault Trucks range, with development in complex vehicle diagnostics and electric vehicle systems.

Training takes place in a dealer workshop under a mentor, with block releases at the Renault Trucks UK Training Academy in Whetstone, Leicester. Aimed at those starting a career in commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Pass Level 1 English and Maths or exemption before end-point assessment.
• Interest in maintenance, repair and inspections of Renault Trucks.
• Commitment to high standards of training and learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles in dealer workshop.
• Participate in hands-on diagnostic work and safety procedures.
• Attend blocks of training at Renault Trucks UK Training Academy.
