Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is looking for a Workshop Technician to join a busy Buckinghamshire workshop, with experience in plant, HGV, PSV, or mobile crane maintenance. The role focuses on servicing, repairs, refurbishment, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in a supportive team.

You’ll work on a wide range of plant and crane equipment, with 40-hour weeks and enhanced overtime rates, and a benefits package including 33 days leave, health care options, and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, HGV or PSV maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to mobile cranes on both a commercial and warranty basis.
• Support the refurbishment of plant and crane equipment within a busy commercial workshop.
• Liaise with customers to agree required works, action points, and expected timeframes.
• Work closely with suppliers to order parts and maintain a strong and accurate parts inventory.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure all tasks are completed in priority order and to high standards.
