About this opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with Needhams Services Ltd. They are looking for an apprentice HGV mechanic to join their busy workshop in Oldham, maintaining their fleet of vehicles.

Daily responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment
2. Using tools and equipment for vehicle maintenance and repair
3. Learning safe working procedures in the workshop
4. Assisting technicians with their tasks while receiving on-the-job training
5. Learning to service vehicles and safely remove and replace engine, chassis, electrical, and transmission components
6. Diagnosing and repairing faults in engine, chassis, transmission, and electrical systems
