Job summary

ASCO - Workforce Solutions requires a diligent forklift operator to perform daily checks, cargo handling, and quayside support. The role covers vessel loading/unloading and adherence to HSSEQ standards, with Monday to Friday shifts totaling 41.25 hours per week.

Candidates must have an RTITB Counter Balance Forklift Certificate and be able to work under pressure. Driving licence is desirable, and the position is based on ASCO sites in Scotland.

Qualifications

• RTITB Counter Balance Forklift Certificate is required.
• Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised.
• Numerate and literate with good spatial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks and complete compliance documentation.
• Report defects found during checks or while operating the forklift.
• Assist fitter in forklift maintenance and perform duties as required.
• Carry out forklift operations per procedures and HSSEQ standards.
• Coordinate crane lifting operations and assist with vessel turnarounds.
• Liaise with Quayside Supervisor to report delays or problems.
