As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Eastland Partners you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of heavy equipment and machinery used in our daily operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our equipment, helping to keep projects on schedule. All work is within the Worcester area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy earth moving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Inspect equipment for wear and tear, and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and servicing tasks, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of equipment issues.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL ).
• Certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
