Job summary

Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced Plumber (Heating) to join a well-established facilities management company covering Salisbury and nearby areas. The role offers regular overtime, ongoing training, and opportunities to develop expertise in renewable technologies, including Air Source Heat Pumps.

Work involves domestic plumbing/heating tasks in occupied homes, with travel within a 1 hour 45 minute radius; travel beyond is paid.

Qualifications

Proven experience within domestic plumbing and heating.
Experience carrying out radiator replacements and working on wet central heating systems.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload.

Responsibilities

Carry out radiator replacements and heating system upgrades.
Assist with domestic boiler installations.
Replace hot water cylinders.
Complete central heating wet works.
Diagnose and repair plumbing faults relating to heating systems.
Deliver a consistently high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Accurately record completed work using a PDA/mobile device.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
