Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team, covering domestic and light commercial projects across Surrey and Hampshire. This role offers training in renewable heating technologies and a clear path to develop ASHP skills.

You will carry out installations, maintenance and repairs with emphasis on safety, compliance and customer satisfaction. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to undertake further training are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience as a plumber in domestic or light commercial environments.
• Basic knowledge or exposure to Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP).

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in domestic and small commercial settings
• Assist in the installation of Air Source Heat Pump systems under supervision/training
• Work closely with heating engineers to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Diagnose and rectify plumbing and basic heating issues
• Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our growing team, covering domestic and light commercial projects across Surrey and Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a basic understanding of Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) who is eager to develop their skills and progress into renewable heating technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs in domestic and small commercial settings

Assist in the installation of Air Source Heat Pump systems under supervision/training

Work closely with heating engineers to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

Diagnose and rectify plumbing and basic heating issues

Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)

Proven experience as a plumber in domestic or light commercial environments

Basic knowledge or exposure to Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)

Full UK driving licence

Good communication and customer service skills

Willingness to undertake further training in renewable heating systems

Desirable (but not essential):

Unvented hot water (G3) certification

Previous experience installing or maintaining renewable heating systems

CSCS or equivalent site safety card
