Job summary

System Recruitment Limited is hiring a Heating / Gas Engineer to perform planned and reactive maintenance across a UK-wide central/southern Oxfordshire area. You will travel to multiple sites with a company van and ensure high standards of gas heating and plumbing work.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ experience, appropriate boiler/gas qualifications and a strong safety mindset. Salary is £40,000–£50,000 with OTE and a company van; ASAP start.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in the building service industry with mechanical and heating maintenance, repairs and small works.
• Experience across boiler/heating systems, with a proven work history.
• Willingness to cover sites within an 80-mile radius of Oxford and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Planned Maintenance to boilers, heating, plumbing and ventilation systems.
• Attend repairs, breakdowns and fault finding.
• Installation of pipework and plumbing, replacing electro/mechanical parts.
• Prepare and submit quotations and complete site reports.

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 basic, OTE £55,000 + Van

As Heating / Gas Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct Planned Maintenance to boilers, heating, plumbing & ventilation systems.
• Attend repairs, breakdowns and fault finding.
• Installation of pipework & plumbing, replacing electro/mechanical
• Completion of reports, assist, prepare and submit quotations

As a member of the Service and Maintenance team on site you will be responsible for conducting the planned and reactive maintenance to the site's mechanical services. You will cover a number of sites within the central and southern counties in an approximate 80-mile radius of Oxford so will be given a company van to travel to the site.

Experience

• At least 5 years' experience in the building service industry working in a similar role and able to demonstrate a proven work history record in respect of Mechanical and Heating maintenance, repairs, and small works.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Heating / Gas Engineer, Commercial and Domestic Gas Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Boiler Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Heating Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Oxford, Bicester, Thame, Abingdon, Witney, Carterton, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Newbury, Reading, Slough, West London or be willing to relocate.
