Job summary

Impression Recruitment in Malton is seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to install, service and maintain heating systems, including gas appliances. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and carry out planned maintenance with a focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have gas qualifications, a full UK driving licence and strong fault-finding skills, plus excellent communication with customers. Salary is £30,000–£40,000 with overtime and a company van provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer.
• Gas qualifications are essential; oil and LPG qualifications are desirable. Gas Safe registration is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of heating systems including gas appliances.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently with minimal disruption to customers.
• Deliver planned maintenance and reactive repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation.
