Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Central is seeking a Heating Engineer to maintain and repair heating systems in domestic properties across the Milton Keynes region. You will ensure efficient, safe operation of heating and hot water systems and complete required paperwork both electronically and manually.

Role requires out-of-hours rota participation and a strong focus on customer care, health and safety compliance, and professional conduct with clients and tenants.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications are essential (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1).
• Proven ability to maintain and repair heating systems in domestic properties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic properties across the region.
• Ensure high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, and complete paperwork electronically and manually.
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements and COSHH records in daily work.
• Assist with stock ordering and auditing to keep parts available for jobs.
• Out of hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis.

Job description

The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating & hot water systems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
  Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis is required as part of this role
• A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants

Sureserve Compliance Central We are a national company offering market leading heating & hot water solutions from a network of regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands, strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage and uncompromised access to our clients.

• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs

1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
