Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint a Heating Engineer to work as a member of the in-house Maintenance Team to carry out routine maintenance and repairs, focusing on mechanical systems and services such as the Building Energy Management System (BEMS), essential for the school's operations and presentation.
Contract: This is a permanent, full-time position with a six-month probation period.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week in a shift system, between 07:00 and 18:00, with hours to be agreed with the Deputy Estates Manager. Includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break. The role may require responding to emergencies or assisting with school operations outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and holiday periods, with additional hours paid as overtime or accrued as time off in lieu.
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on skills and experience.
