Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Central in the United Kingdom is seeking a Heating Engineer to service and repair heating systems in our clients' properties, ensuring safety and energy efficiency.

You will work regionally, maintain strong tenant relationships, manage paperwork, and participate in an out-of-hours rota as part of a 40-hour work week. A company vehicle and qualification support are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 are essential.
• Experience with domestic heating systems preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance on domestic properties across the region.
• Ensure high levels of customer care with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress, completing paperwork electronically and manually.
• Comply with health and safety requirements including risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH.
• Co-ordinate stock ordering and auditing to ensure relevant parts are available.
• Out of hours evenings and weekend cover on a rota basis.

Job description

The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating & hot water systems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.,

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
  Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis is required as part of this role
• A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants

• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs

1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
