Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead Heathrow project logistics strategy across live environments, ensuring a consistent, controlled approach from pre-construction through delivery, commissioning, demobilisation and handover. You will coordinate material movement, storage, waste management and access arrangements while maintaining governance with Heathrow stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, airport, logistics or material management operations, with proven experience in complex live operational environments.
• Experience leading logistics strategy across multiple projects or work packages, ideally within Heathrow or another major airport environment.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations, Principal Contractor logistics obligations, permit dependencies, RAMS interfaces and construction phase planning.
• Ability to develop, review and govern project-specific logistics plans, delivery lookaheads, storage forecasts, material movement processes and waste management arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and governing the Heathrow logistics strategy for all Vanderlande projects.
• Standardising logistics planning, material control, storage forecasting, DMZ management and related processes.
• Acting as the senior logistics interface with Heathrow stakeholders and project teams.
• Ensuring logistics requirements are embedded into project plans, permits and delivery programmes.
• Providing clear direction to optimise use of shared Heathrow logistics infrastructure and minimise disruption.
