Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for site-based delivery at Heathrow Airport. You will lead electrical works, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage procurement, and ensure safe, on-time project execution in a live airport environment.

With 5+ years in electrical project management, you will drive coordination, maintain safety standards, and deliver projects from planning through handover on a major aviation site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in electrical project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical works on projects at Heathrow Airport.
• Manage supervisors, engineers, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Drive programme delivery and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Identify project risks early and work with the wider team to resolve them.
• Work with the Project QS to manage cost control, variations, reporting and commercial performance.
• Support procurement planning, RFIs, technical submittals, material approvals and subcontractor coordination.
• Review drawings, specifications and design information to resolve buildability and coordination issues.
• Chair and attend project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.
• Monitor labour, materials, plant and resources to support efficient delivery.
• Ensure works are completed in line with quality standards, commissioning requirements and handover expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client and stakeholders.
• Uphold health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
