Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a dedicated Heat Treatment Operative to join our specialist manufacturing team in Redditch. The role offers full training with a 3–6 month period and potential pay progression after training.

You will learn to operate furnaces, handle components, record production data and ensure quality and safety throughout the process. Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, able to follow procedures, and eager to develop in engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated and keen to learn.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous but not essential.

£14.24 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay)

Training & Development

We provide a comprehensive training programme covering all aspects of the role. Training is expected to take approximately 3 to 6 months. Once fully trained, operatives will be expected to work independently and manage their daily tasks.
