Job summary

Aira is hiring a Heat Pump Engineer in the UK to install cutting-edge heat pumps, cylinders and radiators, reducing families’ energy costs and carbon footprint. You will work with designers to ensure surveys and schematics accompany every installation.

We provide Aira Academy training and opportunities for professional growth within the UK’s fastest-growing heat-pump installer, plus a branded van, tools, and a structured development path.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 plumbing or equivalent is required.
• Gas Safe registration is required.
• Experience installing boilers or air-source heat pumps.
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality heat-pump installations safely and efficiently.
• Lead your team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Work with designers to ensure surveys and diagrams are provided.
• Join a Europe-wide team of engineers within the Aira family.

We’re currently looking for experienced domestic heating installers to join our team of Clean Energy Technicians. Even if you’ve never fitted a heat pump before, you may already have the skills we’re looking for.

If you have experience installing boilers, heating systems, or heat pumps, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality heat‑pump installations safely and efficiently, while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing As a Heat Pump Engineer

• Helping families lower their costs and carbon footprint by installing the very latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
• Working closely with our designers to ensure that you’re only fitting efficient, reliable systems, with proper surveys and schematic diagrams for every installation.
• Training at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, with opportunities for development and professional growth within the UK’s fastest‑growing heat‑pump installer.
• Joining a Europe‑wide team of Engineers as part of the Aira family.

Qualifications

We will provide all necessary Air Source Heat Pump training at our own Aira Academy, however we need you to have the following:

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
• Gas safe registered
• Experience installing boilers or air‑source heat pumps
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators

Additional Qualifications (preferred)

• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
• WRAS qualifications (water regulations)
• Unvented hot water systems (Part G)
• Level 3 heat‑pump system design
• F‑Gas Category 1
